Amiens Cathedral

The cathedral is the tallest complete cathedral in France, its stone-vaulted nave reaching a height of 42.30 m. It also has the greatest interior volume of any French cathedral, estimated at 200,000 m³.

This picture shows the tympanum of central west portal, where Christ in Majesty presides over the Day of Judgement, supported by an array of saints.

The photographer was into the sculpture so much that he didn’t realize my focus.
