How to “render” the mountain

Well, I mean “render”, it doesn’t refer to post processing, but composition.

In my opinion, a solo mountain in the picture isn’t that attractive. You need something else.

For example, I let the Watzmann and the house talk. Then audience can imagine: oh, there is such a giant behind my home :-{}

Another one: the cloud flying top-right leaves a huge shadow at the mountain foot. I like this one more than the previous Kehlsteinhaus top view.

Watzmann

We stayed in a “Zimmer” at the foot of mountain Watzmann, which costs ~50 euro a day incl. a decent Bavarian breakfast. Here is the view outside of the “Zimmer”.

The left peak of Watzmann is called “the Queen”, while the taller one on the right is “the King”. In the middle, you can find “seven kids” of the royal family.
